No Harm in Yarn

Can't we all just knit along?

And now, a shocking revelation....

You Are a Sprinkled Donut

Flamboyant and flashy, you're easily distracted by shiny things.
You're definitely a snazzy number, and you usually catch everyone's eye in the room.
And you've got the goods to back it up your colorful image.
(Though too much of you gives people a stomach ache!)

I never mentioned that I have been selling stuff at Etsy. See my shop HERE . This is a shrug I made and listed. Good times.

Here is the baby blanket my MIL requested. I love the colors. It's not finished (I have about 35 rows), but it will be soon.
Did you ever have a project that always reminds you of what was happening in your life when it was made? I did a flea market with my husband and worked on this between lookers. I know that this image will come to me whenever this project is brought up. I have a sweater that I wear constantly. It always reminds me of my Mom visiting for Easter. I also remember the first time I wore it I ended up in an art class presentation. Just the same, bad patterns/yarn or a negative time in my life will give an item a bad rap. Interesting.

I've been a little side tracked on my Sunrise Circle Jacket. My MIL asked me to make a baby blanket for one of her friends. I really don't mind doing it and I can't say no to this woman! So I'm working on that now. Maybe I'll post photos of that once I get somewhere on it.
There's a bead show this weekend over in Jersey. I love going to it. I do make some (very little)jewelry and I do use some beads in my knitting, but I like to go just to look at shiny things. Maybe I'll have bead photos soon...

You Are Miss Piggy

A total princess and diva, you're totally in charge - even if people don't know it.
You want to be loved, adored, and worshiped. And you won't settle for anything less.
You're going to be a total star, and you won't let any of the "little people" get in your way.
Just remember, piggy, never eat more than you can lift!

I can't stand her! Maybe because we're too much alike! Humpf!

This is the evidence of progression on the Sunny C Jacket. I have reached the dart portion of the program and just wanted to post a progress report. This color changes a bunch depending on the light and angle. It's not red and not pink. I really do like it. I think it will be pretty once it's washed and it gets a "halo".

This just came today! It's my Wool of the Andes from Knitpicks. This will become my Sunrise Circle Jacket. My husband was home when it arrived. This made me nervous. He feels that I have more than enough yarn already. This time, however, he was so horrified with the color that he didn't even mention the fact that more yarn was entering our home. This is a man who wears blue, brown, black, grey, olive, beige and that's it. So, I know it's bright, and I know my husband only likes colors found in the grave, and I know that I can pull it off! Besides, I love it.
