It softened up a bunch after washing. The pattern is the Basketweave Blanket from Knitting for Baby. The yarn is "Bermuda Green" Cotton Chenille from The Chenille Shack on eBay. Good prices and gorgeous yarn. I adore this color.

Now, I'll go back to finish the Bee Sweet Socks I've been avoiding.
